If you're considering joining NoGigiddy, you may be wondering if you'll be classified as a 1099 or W2 employee. Here's everything you need to know about how we classify our gig workers:
At NoGigiddy, our gig workers are classified as independent contractors, also known as 1099 workers. This means that you'll be responsible for paying your own taxes and won't have taxes withheld from your earnings like you would as a W2 employee.
As an independent contractor, you'll have more control over your work and schedule, and can deduct certain business expenses on your tax return. However, you'll also be responsible for paying self-employment taxes, which cover Social Security and Medicare contributions.
We'll provide you with a MISC-1099 form at the end of the year to report your earnings to the IRS.
